Changeover day
Changeover day is normally a Friday or Tuesday but is flexible. Property needs
to be vacated by 10.30am and arrivals after 3.30pm. Day rates can be arranged if
there is no one else is due in after your booking for those with a late flight.

2nd floor master room with 5ft double bed and terrace. 2nd bedroom with 6ft
double (can be twins).
1st floor 3rd bedroom also with 6ft double (can be twins) with French doors onto
terrace.
4th bedroom on ground floor with 2 single beds. |

Master room and 2nd bedroom share bathroom on 2nd floor.
3rd bedroom has toilet and shower room on 1st floor.
4th bedroom has a shower room on ground floor.

Large independent kitchen fitted with granite work surfaces, oven, hob,
extractor, dishwasher, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, washing
machine. George Foreman grilling machine. Feature ceilings with cornice and
inset spot lighting. |
| Utility Room: |
There is a washing machine fitted under the work surface in the shower room.
A storage cupboard provides, mop bucket, mop, sweeping brush, ironing board and
iron. A clothes dryer is stored here to dry washed close externally. |
| Living Rooms: |
S3 seater and 2 seater sofa and chair, extendable dining table with 8
chairs, TV, DVD, English BBC1 and 2, ITV, CH4, CH5 also with 2 sports channels
receiver. The reception with this receiver can be tempermental at times but
generally gives a good picture! |
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: |
Clean linen and towels supplied once a week. Any extra change of linen will
involve an additional charge. Please bring beach/swim towels. Can buy cheap swim
towels over here.

Notes on
accommodation
Heating is not required as the sun does it all year round.
No pets
There are fans provided for the bedrooms. 3 of the bedrooms have sea views. The
pool area and the villa is ideally suited for young children as it is secure at
all times and impossible for youngsters to depart the property without adult
assistance.

Outside
The villa external areas consist of the following: Front entrance terrace with
external stone circular table and chairs. Terrace off the main lounge includes
table and chairs with stone BBQ. This also leads to a raised decked area
suitable for sun loungers and external dining with ocean views. The poolside
terrace features open areas for sun worshippers and covered areas via the raised
deck. The heated mosaic tiled swimming pool receives all day sun.
Coast/Beach
The villa is in a quieter area of Las Americas but is within easy reach of the
beach, shopping, restaurant and bar areas. It is approx 20 min walk to the beach
of Torviscas, Puerto Colon and 10 mins to the nearest restaurants and bars. It
is perfectly situated as it’s near enough to easily access all the amenities but
away from the bustle. The walk to the beach etc is downhill so if you have young
children or people who struggle with walking up hill we suggest you get a taxi
which costs approx 4
Golf
Many golf courses in the local vicinity, closest course being Adeje which is a
10 min drive/taxi.
Travel
Tenerife south airport about 20 minutes travel by taxi or we can arrange pick
up. Car hire is cheap and simple either pre booked or at the airport.
Distances
Nowhere on the island is far! The capital Santa Cruz is approx 1 hour away, with
Puerto de la Cruz being the furthest at approx 1 hour 15 mins. There are many
scenic towns/villages to explore especially along the coast. Mount Tiede is
worth a visit and takes approx 1 hour to drive. Once there you can take a cable
car to the top! There are several theme/water parks for family entertainment.
The nearest water park is just a 10 min walk from the villa.
Further details
There are several shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance to the
villa. There are several well stocked small supermarkets as well as a beauty
salon and hairdressers all within 10 min walk.
Las Americas offers many holiday attractions, one of the favourites is the many
boat trips to see the whales and dolphins that run everyday. There is go-karting,
zoos and several themed restaurants especially for families to name just a few
tourist attractions.
